Farmhouse. C16 with circa C17/18 wing. Roughcast stone rubble. Slurried scantle
slate hipped and gable-ended roof. L-shaped on plan. C17/18 two storey south wing,
three window range. Sashes with glazing bars. Glazed door to right of centre.
C16 wing at rear (north west) with large rendered chimney stack at gable end, and
another rendered chimney stack on side wall with moulded granite cap. Nail-studded
door to side of stack with moulded wooden door frame. Another moulded door frame at
opposite end of cross passage.
Interior: Jointed cruck trusses at lower end of north west wing. Also at lower end
a massive chamfered ceiling beam. Ground floor room at higher end of north west wing
has early C18 fielded panelling with overmantel flanked by round-headed niches with
fluted pilasters.
