GV II

Headstone. Dated 1760 in memory of James Cock. Slate. Upright square-headed slab
standing approximately 450 millimetres high. The head is carved with skull flanked
by scrolled decoration. The inscription is Roman serif upper and lower case
lettering. It records the death of James Cock, Clark (sic) of the parish, in 1760,
and his son James. The other side is inscribed in memory of Hugh Cock who died in
1823.
