Shown on Ordnance Survey map as Rectory Farm. Farmhouse. Early C18 with
C19 and C20 alteration and extension. Cruck-framed, encased in whitewashed
chalkstone on brick footings; pantile roof and brick stacks. One storey and
attic, 3-window front. Original right-of-centre door now blocked. Inserted
6-panel door at centre left. All windows are top-opening lights, those on
ground floor with large panes and painted stone sills. Attic widows are
flat dormers and have small-paned lights. End and right-of-centre stacks.
Interior: 3 pairs of upper crucks with spurs survive. Square-section joists
are exposed in right end room, but other ceilings are underdrawn.
