House. Late C18 with early C19 extension. Herringbone-tooled sandstone
with tooled sandstone extension; pantile roof with brick stacks. Originally
gable-entry plan, later extended. 2-storey, 2-window front, with
1½-storey, 1-window extension set back to left. Extension has renewed
board door to right of 2-light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash with stone
sill; similar small window above. Tooled lintels to ground-floor openings.
Renewed horizontal-sliding sashes to main front, of three 6-pane lights to
ground floor, and 2 lights to first floor. Ground-floor windows have
herringbone-tooled lintels. Coped gables and shaped kneeler to main house.
End stacks. Extension has coped left gable and rectangular kneeler; end
left stack. Rear: original cross-passage doorway now blocked by 2-light,
12-pane horizontal-sliding sash. Left return: fire window in angle with
extension. Interior: stone heck and bressumer survive in room to right of
door.
