The Vicarage with piers and railings to Park Street (north) and gate piers and wall to Church Street (west)

Vicarage with gatepost and railings to facing Park Street and gateposts and
wall facing Church Street. Late C18 with alterations and extensions of
c1820. Hammer-dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof. Cast-iron railings.
Originally central-hallway entry but alterations of c1820 included removal
of entrance hall to extension at rear of main range, entered from the right
gable end. Additional cross wing to rear left and pavilion to rear right.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Central replacement sash with glazing bars beneath flat
stone lintel in position of former doorway flanked by 16-pane sashes beneath
keyed wedge lintels. First floor: 16-pane sashes beneath keyed wedge
lintels. Gable coping. Corniced end stacks. Interior: fine open-string
staircase with carved undertreads of c1820. Railings: anthemion heads with
anthemion and urn finials to main posts. Piers: square-section with
cornices and pyramidal heads. Wall to Church Street c2 metres in height.
Coped and ramped up to gate piers.
