C18 early-mid. Local pinkish brick, English garden wall bond. Moulded eaves
cornice. Roof renewed in concrete tiles with stone copings and kneelers, end
chimneys. Farmhouse and cottage. House two storeys, 4 windows, the first floor inner
ones blocked and painted trompe l'oeil. Other sashes, glazing bars. Gauged brick
arches with keystones, and stone cills. Cottage two storeys, two windows, Yorkshire
sashes, boarded door. One modern casement. Blocked pigeon holes in gable end.
Inside a good staircase with turned balusters and closed string, and many panelled
doors.
