Laithehouse. Mid C18. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate
roof. 2-storey, 2-bay house with attached 3-bay barn. Quoins. House: C20
half-glazed door in plain surround with tie-stone jambs to left of centre;
flanking 2-light, flat-faced mullion windows to ground and first floors.
Bulbous kneeler and gable coping to right, corniced end stacks. Barn to
left: byre door left has a tie-stone jamb to right, the lintel raised and
the entrance widened on the left. Cart entrance right with board double
doors, segmental arch and quoined jambs; the voussoirs with herringbone
tooling. Bulbous kneeler and gable coping to left. Attached outbuildings
to left and right, not of special interest.
