GV II

Market cross. Dated 1886. Stone. Square shaft, on stepped square base,
with plain cornice topped by a banded ball finial. Half way up shaft is a
cast-iron plaque inscribed 'Rebuilt by public subscription AD 1886. Market
Charter granted to John De Mowbray by Edward the first AD1307'.
