Watermill. Probably late C18. Cobbles, stone and brick; C20 pantile roof.
2-storey 3-bay main block, with lower 2-storey, 2-bay addition to right and
single-storey wheel-house to rear. Quoins. Main block: board door right,
two 3-pane windows to left, all with wooden lintels. Steps up to board door
far left. Loading door first-floor centre, flanked by 3-pane windows. 4 X-
shaped tie plates below eaves. 2-storey addition has first-floor door left
and 2 windows to each floor. Interior: machinery survives with gearing and
stones, ground floor only seen at resurvey. Disused since 1950's; the 2-bay
addition is now an information centre and residence.
