Dovecote, now animal shelter. C18. Coursed rubble and cobbles, ashlar
quoins, pantile roof with 3 eaves courses of stone slates. Square plan. 2
storeys, 1 bay. Rusticated quoins. South front: wide entrance with shallow
relieving arch over timber lintel; square opening with plain stone surround
above. Pyramidal roof with wooden framework only of lantern remaining and
in poor condition. Small square openings to other 3 sides. Interior not
inspected. Built as a group with the barn and stables to be viewed from the
driveway to Sleningford Park.
