Wall and gatepiers. Early C19. Coursed squared limestone lacing road, red
brick facing the garden; ashlar copings. Wall lines Hall Lane to south-west
of Bramwith Hall (q,v.) with an altered vehicle entrance opposite the house,
it continues north-east in a curve to line the south side of the driveway
that gives access to the house and its associated farmbuildings, opposite the
north-west-facing facade of the house are 2 gatepiers with C20 wall and gate
set between. The Hall is approximately 2 metres in height and has thin
copings which sweep up to the gatepiers to north-west of the house, these are
set forward and have plain blocking stones and large ball finial, and flank a
C20 wrought-iron gate set in rendered-brick panel. The later section of wall
continuing south-east from SK62381153 is not of special interest.
