Pair of semi-detached cottages. Probably C18 - may be of earlier origin.
Brookside has brick walls, thatched roof, brick stack at left end and
plastered stack at right end - shared with Pond Cottage. 2 storeys. Single-
storey extension at left end - probably former outbuilding, of brick with
slate roof. This has 2 casement windows with glazing bars and a fixed window
in former doorway. Main house has ledged door in C20 gabled porch. Ground
floor has 2 C20 metal windows. First floor has one casement with cast iron
lights. Pond Cottage has plastered cob walls, hipped thatched roof with
catslide extension on right. Plastered stack shared with Brookside. 2 storeys.
Ground floor has one casement window with glazing bars and one with cast iron
lights. First floor has 2 similar windows. Entrance at rear. Some exposed
ceiling beams.
