GV II

House. Late C17, early C18. red brick, steeply-pitched pantile roof. Two
storeys and attic. Facade three windows wide, bays slightly uneven. Ground
floor sashes with glazing bars, segmental arches over openings; two arches
with flush keyblocks. Doorway opposite stack, slightly off-centre to right:
6-panel door with two upper panels glazed. C20 door surround with reeded
and dentilled frieze and leaded canopy. Three 3-light first floor casements
with leaded glazing, segmental heads to outer bays. Brick dentil eaves
course. Parapet gables with square base finials and moulded brick eaves
corbels. Tall axial stack with rendered base and moulded brick top. Small
2-storey projection on west gable. 2-light attic casement in gable. East
gable has platband at base; ground floor sash and double doors to C20
conservatory. Two 2-light first floor casements with leaded glazing, 3-light
attic casement. Lower 2 1/2 storey range to north, rendered and colourwashed.
