9/52 Small stable block at Saddlewood
Manor, immediately east of barns
GV II

Small stable block. Probably early/mid C19. Coursed stone with
flush quoins, stone slate roof. Gable ends have open keyed
rectangular stone frames with near-oval central openings. King
post roof of 5 bays, each bay a stall with stable door and small
hopper light to right and to rear wall. Original plank stall
partitions and some with barrel-like corner feeding mangers. South
gable end has mounting block of 3 steps attached.
