County Primary School. 1875, with additions of 1895 and 1908. Coursed, squared and dressed carstone ashlar with Bath-stone dressings, slated roofs. Single storey, H plan. To south 2 returned gabled cross wings with 3-light wooden tracery Gothic arch headed casements. Stone quoins, banding, kneelers and coped gables. Centre has gabled central window with 3 trefoil headed lights, tile-hung typanum and Gothic arch. 2 flanking single light casements. 2 angle porches. Central cupola with battered, slated base, octagonal belfry with spire, replaced after the damage in 1982.
Built in 1875 at cost of £2000 : Kelly's Directory, Norfolk (1916) p.445.
