Picturesque neo-Georgian villa with high quality of detail c. 1910. 2 storeys,
white plaster, with bargeboards, brackets, moulded windows frames and cornice
all in natural timber, unpainted. Entrance at east end with segmental hood on
console brackets and ground floor bay to left, asymmetrical gable with scalloped
circular recess. Symmetrical south side has bowed 2-storey centre with loggia
of stone Tuscan columns and 5-light 1st floor window with raised central light,
gable over, flanked by flat-topped dormers. Narrow semi-circular bow in centre
of west side. Lean-to to north. Roof of greenish graded slates on overhanging
eaves.
