Monuments, immediately south of
church in churchyard of Church of
St. John the Baptist

Three chest tombs. Edmond Ball 166- in centre, and 2 unidentified
probably of mid C18. Limestone. All with flat tops and moulded
plinth and cappings. To west: on raised base, indented ends with
cherubs to west and books to east, shallow relief foliage cartouche
to south and oval panel with foliage moulding to north. Ball:
dentils to capping, vestigial lyre ends, plain moulded rectangular
side panels. To east: lyre ends with slightly bellied oval
panels. Sides have plain moulded rectangular panels and flanking
floral reliefs. Large piece of capping broken off to north east.
