1865-7, G E Street, joined to main building by single-storey link with pierced
timber tracery. Nave and chancel, with division marked by buttressed wall supporting
neat octagonal bellcote with alternating openings and buttresses. Coursed Purbeck
rubble with Bath stone dressings. West windows, 2 cinquefoiled lancets and quatrefoil
in vesica, east window, cinquefoiled triplet under relieving arch, side windows
connected by continuous sloping sill, also stringcourses breaking over as hoodmould.
Roof of patterned slate with tile ridge on overhanging bracketed eaves, openwork
stone cross on east gable. Interior has roofs of canted rafters of unusual section.
Chancel arch with simple moulded abacus. Window sills connected by stringcourse.
East and west windows and others have glass by Clayton and Bell. Reredos has
sculptured relief of Good Samaritan by T W Earp between foliage panels, with
fleurons on rectangular frame.
