Detached house, late C18 or early C19. Flemish bond brickwork with tiled
roofs and end brick stacks. Symmetrical. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 16-pane sashes
below and 12-pane sashes above under segmental brick heads. Central panelled
door under hood on carved, scrolled brackets. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.IV, p.102,
