House. Mid C17-early C18. Square-panelled timber-framing with
brick infill on a rubble plinth; later extension in brick;
artificial stone slate roof probably formerly thatched; random
squared and dressed limestone stack with a brick shaft.
Rectangular plan. C20 entrance porch and adjoining garage not of
special interest. Two storeys. Three-windowed facade lit by 2-
light wooden casements with glazing bars. All casements respect
the framing. Almost central C20 plank door with a single bull's
eye pane within an open-sided lean-to porch. Single-bay brick
extension to the right gable end. Two C20 three-light wooden
casements with glazing bars to the gable end of the brick
extension. Projecting stack at the left gable end with brick shaft
containing a limestone datestone initialled 'J -- 1717'. Interior
not inspected.
