Large house in terrace. Late C17/early C18, restored in C19 and
altered in mid C20. Random coursed rubble stone, (.otswold stone
slate roof with front parapet, 2 stone stacks. Front range with
lower rear wings. 3 storeys. 4 windows to 1st floor, 3 to 2nd, C19
leaded casements in stone moulded architraves with beaded mullions
and transoms and moulded bull-nosed sills to 5, remaining 2 (over
left hand door) same in wood. 1st floor windows have square
hoodmoulds, 2nd floor have continuous dripmould. One gabled
dormer. Ground floor with C20 projecting roof and 2 bow windows
with 2 stone doorcases with moulded jambs and lintels. Rectangular
inscription panel with low relief carving and entwined initials on
2nd floor to right. Decorative rainwater heads to left with date
1741 and initials W I I imported from elsewhere.
