opposite turning to Kingham
II
Former lodge to Adlestrop Park. Dated 1849 below heraldic shield
above window left of porch, probably by W. A. Nesfield, C20
extension. Uncoursed limestone with ashlar quoins, slate roof,
ashlar stacks. 'T' shaped plan with porch projecting from right-
hand angle of 'T'. C20 extension at rear not of special interest.
Facade at right-angles to road. One storey and attic lit by 2-
light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods
in gable ends. Gable projects forward left with porch projecting
further forward right. 4-light stone-mullioned casement to ground
floor, left of porch with stopped hood stepped up over heraldic
shield above. Slightly stepped gable-end coping with moulded
kneelers. C20 skylight.
