Detached farmhouse. Late C16-early C17. Rubble stone walls. Slate
roofs with stone eaves courses and coped gables. Stone stacks with
moulded caps. L-shaped plan, the rear wing of slightly later date.
2 storeys. Added gabled porch with ornamental bargeboard. Inner
doorway with 4-centred arch. Similar doorway, now blocked, west of
this. Ground floor has one 2-light and three 3-light stone mullioned
windows. First floor has 3 similar 3-light windows. West ground
floor room has stone fireplace surround with 4-centred arch. Large
open fireplace with bread oven at north end of rear wing. Under
repair at time of survey (1984).
