Detached house. C17, enlarged in C20. Plastered cob walls, hipped
thatched roof, brick stacks on ridge. One store and attics. Door
with reeded timber surround. Ground floor has one casement window
with glazing bars. Attic has 2 dormers with similar casements.
Lean-to projection at east end, under thatched catslide roof. C20
extension on west, of matching construction - forming a T-shaped
plan. Internally, main ground floor room has large open fireplace
with timber lintel and jambs. Bread oven and remains of curing
chamber. Oak stair with cut-out shaped balusters.
