GV II

Barn. Late C18 with later stableblock. Random squared and dressed
limestone; corrugated asbestos roof; red tile roof to shelter
shed. Rectangular plan with stable and open-fronted store to the
gable end. North front of barn with central C20 plank doors with
two ventilation slits either side; 2-light window with heavy-
pegged frame upper right of barn matches the north front. Pitching
window; ventilation slit and owl hole to the east gable end. Owl
hole to the west gable end. Stableblock with small double-width
entrance to the north front with pitching window with early wooden
shutters above. South-facing elevation with 3 plank doors and
stone steps to plank door to loft. Barn interior: 5-bays with
original collar and tie-beam roof trusses and double purlins.
