SP 01 NW WITHINGTON FOXCOTE

5/166 Withy Trees Cottage
GV II

Detached house. Late C17-early C18. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone, stone slate and concrete tile roof.
Rectangular plan with mid C18 extension at right gable end. C20
extension in Cotswold style at rear, not of special interest. Two
storeys and attic lit by single light, double-chamfered garret
windows. Three-windowed facade lit by 2 and 3-light double-
chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods, windows
lighting to right-hand bay C20. Mid C18 extension right; 1½
storeys with two 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements
to ground floor. C20 half dormer lit by 2-light stone-mullioned
casement to upper floor. Flat and stepped gable end coping with
roll-cross saddles to main body. Twin axial stacks with moulded
cappings. Gable end stack to mid C18 extension.
