Public House

5.12.55 II

Public house. Early C18, early C20. Brick, later pebbledashed, old plain tiled
roof. 3 bay early C18 building with end stacks and bay added to left, and half-
bay under hip added to right and wing added to rear at left. Front 2 storey 5
bays. Central doorway in early C20 hip-roofed porch with door and leaded light
each side. Either side a C20 3 or 4-light leaded casement, and a single storey
bay outside them, that to left taller with leaded casements, that to right has
sashes. Above centre bays 3 2-light leaded casements with heads in eyebrows.
Roof hipped with ridge stacks above right bay and between left bay window and
other bays, and stack at left end.
