Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-frame with brick infill,
tiled roof and stone external end stack with detached brick shaft. Two bays
aligned roughly east/west. Cellar and two storeys. South elevation: two
windows, glazing bar C20 casements to first floor and a 3-light early C20
casement under weathering to each side of early C20 door to right of centre.
Gable-tops are weatherboarded. Single-storey early C19 extension to south-
east corner is finished in roughcast; a similar extension but in brick is on
the north side (RCHM Vol II, p 157).
