7/264 Upper Buckenhill Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Probably C17 with C19 alterations. Timber-frame with plaster
infill, substantially cased in brick and sandstone rubble, hipped slate roof,
stone external stack with brick shaft. Staggered rectangular plan with one
arm to south-west and the other to south-east. Two storeys. South-west
elevation to road has 2:2 windows, late C19 and early C20 casements; entry
to centre left, 4-panelled late C19 door under cambered hood at the top
of double lateral steps. Exposed timber-framing to rear is four panels high
from cill to wall-plate.
