Pair of cottages. C17 origins, C18 remodelled C19 when shop added, altered
C20. Brick, old plain tile roof. l½ storey, originally 3 bay, with 2 bays
added to one end, these and one of original bay now Old Bank Cottages, C18
wing to rear of other bays and to other and late C19 shop. Front has to LH
single storey shop with pent-roofed hood over C20 plate-glass shop windows.
To LH 2 bays C19 5-light segmental head casement. Plank door between. In
centre bay similar 3-light casement. RH bays have 2-light casements and
plank door. At RH end low link bay with plank door to Old Bank House (qv).
Over LH bay tilehung 2-light gabled dormer. Over RH bays two 2-light
gabled dormer. Ridge stack in centre.
