SU 42 SE COMPTON YARNERS GREEN

Cottage. Mid-C19. Flint with brick and part timber-frame with brick infill,
slate roof. T-shaped building of 3 bays with projecting wing to front.
Central planked door with cambered head. 1st floor of timber-frame jettied
all round with canted 4-light headed oriel window on single bracket that
reaches down to jetty. Carved bargeboards. In side bays canted 4-light
bay window with hipped roof and above on roof 2-light gabled dormer with
moulded bargeboards. Roof overhangs at ends with moulded bargeboards.
External stacks at end topped by 3 square-sectioned brick stacks.
