Barn at Beckeringspark Manor Farm

Barn. Early to mid C18, probably reusing earlier core. 3 bays long, 2 bays deep. Timber frame raised on red brick plinth, clad in weatherboarding with half-hipped C20 tile roof. S elevation has double doors to central bay, loft doors to outer bays, and later plank door to RH bay. N elevation has outshot to central bay, with small plank door. E gable end has ground floor rebuilt in red brick C19, with loft floor above also replaced. Interior: restored C20 although apparently retaining much original timbering. Roof has purlins on 2 levels, upper ones clasped, lower ones tenoned and staggered. Curved braces. Ridge piece apparently C20.
