- Winnianton Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Circa 1840's. Shale rubble with some granite dressings. Steep dry
Delabole slate roof with paired purlins under wide verges and projecting eaves. 3
lateral external stone chimney breast each with paired octagonal brick shafts with
granite corniced collars, one stack at rear left and two at right-hand side wall.
T-shaped plan of 3 rooms plus porch at front left on inner face of the L and small
C20 addition at middle of right-hand outer face of the L.
2 storeys with first floor rooms partly in roof space. Plinth. East entrance front
with side wall of shaft of T, left, with gable porch midway and projecting gable end
of cross chamfered doorway. (Moulded inner doorway). Gable end right is similar to
gable end left-hand side (south) with 3-light mullioned window with hood-mould to
ground floor and 2-light mullioned window over. Wooden casements.
