SW 72 NE MANACCAN TREATH

House. C18. Shale rubble walls with painted cob to first floor, dressed granite
sills, wooden lintels. Steep scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over gable ends.
Cast iron ogee gutters.
Plan: probably kitchen/living-room left, parlour right, with slightly right-of-centre
cross passage leading to stair and shallow rear service rooms. Later extension at
left-hand side.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window west front. Doorway central to fenestration
but all grouped slightly towards right. 4-panel door with overlight and slated hood
on wooden brackets. Original 16-pane hornless sashes with crown glass.
Interior not inspected but possibly as unaltered as the very complete exterior.
