House, formerly a public house (until 1902). Probably C18. Granite rubble walls.
Scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the gable ends. Cast-iron ogee gutters.
Plan: double-depth plan, 2 front rooms flanking a nearly central cross passage.
Extrior : 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window north front. Doorway slightly left
of middle. Panel door, C19 wooden doorcase with consoles to the entablature. Circa
early C19 16-pane sashes to vertical format ground floor openings and very wide first
floor openings, circa early C19 16-pane hornless sash with sidelights, left, and old
24-pane 3-light casement, right. Projecting from the roof, right of the doorway, is
a pole cantilevered out which used to carry the pub sign.
