Former Royal Oak Public House. Early C18, formerly thatched. 2 storey roughcast
brick house with steep pitched slate roof. Brick verges and high plain kneelers
to south-east. Central brick chimney and another at right. 2 widely spaced windows
with later glazing bar sashes, separated by a narrow blind window, on 1st floor.
Band over ground floor. 2 later 3 light bays on ground floor. Central door with
4 flush panels and a rectangular light over. Moulded wooden cornice to bays.
Roughcast in front; part tinber-framed at rear. Back yard with tall brick chimney
from washhouse.

No 22 Horsefair Green forms a group with Burnham House and No 34 Silver Steet.
