Lock

GV II
Dry dock. Under construction 1835, completed 1841, with later repairs.
Ashlar. Rectangular with tapering east end. Approximately 80 x 20 metres,
and approximately 7 metres in depth. Stepped sides except to west end.
Stone floor to west, lower concrete floor to east. Hydraulic floating gate
