With No 7, the Offices of the Milton Keynes Directorate of Recreation. Altered
C17. 2 storeys. Steep slate roof. Cement rendered, white painted front, small
plinth, chamfered quoins and small moulded cornice with box cast-iron gutter over.
Late 3 light mullioned and transomed wooden framed casement windows, 3 on 1st floor,
2 on ground floor, each set in lugged moulded architrave with moulded sill. Plain
frieze and cornice above each of the ground floor openings including the wide doorway
with sidelights which has plain pilasters and a dentil cornice.

Nos 36 to 40 (even) Church Street form a group with Stratford House, Mill Lane
and all the listed building in the Market Square.
