Farmhouse. C18 or earlier with C19 extensions and alterations. Shale rubble and
granite with scantle slate roof and brick gable chimneys. T-shaped plan. 2 storey
3 window front (probably rebuilt C19) with C19 2.window extension to right. Off
centre door with window over. C20 porch with flanking shallow brick arched
openings. 16-pane sashes. Walls to front and back have been heightened probably
contemporary with extensions. External gable breast to left gable end. Interior
has cloam oven in open hearth in left hand room and several C18 2 panel doors to
first floor.
