Pair of cottages.Circa mid C18.Stone rubble,rendered with pebbledash on left and
rendered and painted on right.Slate roof with gable ends.Large rendered chimney
stack on left-hand gable end.Pair of mirror image one-room plan cottages over cellars. Cottages built into side of hill with steps up to entrance on first floor.Three storeys regular three-window front.Ground floor with C19 two-light casement and C20 casement with top lights flanking the two flights of stone rubble steps which lead from left and The Cottage on the right.Between these flights is a central entrance probably leading to a store.The parapet above this entrance has been heightened with concrete blocks.On the first floor two C20 two-light casements,right with glazing bars,flank the central entrances.Both partly glazed with early C20 and late C20 doors.Second floor three two-light casements with glazing bars,the central window divided by internal partition.The second floor window heads break eaves with raking roofs.Interior not inspected.
