Pair of cottages. Circa early C19. Stone rubble with slate roof with gable ends.
Rendered chimney stack on left-hand gable end. Pair of mirror image 1-room plan
cottages. 3-storeys symmetrical 2-window front. Compass Cottage on left with C19 4-
pane sash beneath brick segmental arch and part glazed door to right. Penny Cottage
on right with C20 partly glazed stable type of door and C19 12-pane sash without
horns to right. First floor with C19 4-pane sash with brick segmental arch on left
and C20 2-light window to right. Similar fenestration on second floor.
Interior not inspected.
