5/22 Gateway and front
wall to Worsley House

GV II

Gateway and flanking garden wall. Late C19 - early C20. Reinforced
concrete gateway, red brick walls in English bond with rendered coping.
Tall central basket-arched pedestrian gateway with panelled front and
later C20 wrought iron gate. Flanking wall extends two and a half bays
to left and two bays to rounded corner on right, each bay with a
single-course brick band, recessed panel and shallow concave coped top
ramped up to piers. Section extending along passage to right has
similar panelling beneath flat-coped top. Included for group value.
