GV II

House. Circa early C19. Stone rubble and cob, rendered and painted and partly
slate-hung with rag slates on front. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Projecting
brick end stack on left, partly slate hung and rendered end stack on right.
Plan: 2-room and cross passage plan with probably parlour on left and smaller
kitchen on right, both heated by end stacks. Small service rooms added in rear
outshot in C20.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front with C20 replacement 12-pane
sashes. C19 panelled door to right of centre with C19 slate porch, with fluted jambs
and entablature and roundels in the corners. 2 sashes on ground floor and 2 above.
Interior: Partition on right hand side of passage removed. C19 slate chimney-piece
to parlour on left with fluted jambs and lintel with roundels in corners.
