One building, formerly Shepherd and Dog Inn. Dated 1593. 2 storeys, exposed timber
framing, originally projecting upper storey now under-built in brick; tile roof,
projecting gable and south-west end of front; 3 two-storey bay windows with later
window frames. Replacement sashes and casements. One 6, one 2-panelled door.
Good enrichment on bargeboards, bressummers and gable pendants. Central chimney
stack with grouped diagonal shafts. (RCHM 39).
