Barn. Probably C18. Exposed cob on rubble footings; corrugated iron roof,
originally thatch.
Long barn facing farmyard to north with opposing central doors to threshing floor.
Symmetrical front although the right end has been covered by a later farmbuilding
and also a little bit mutilated. The front wall is low and 7 bays with plain
buttresses front and back under the trusses. Each side of the central door the
centre bay contains a narrow ventilator, that to left with its original timber
frame. The left end has a ventilator over loading hatch. The roof is tall and
steeply-pitched and half-hipped each end. 7-bay roof of A-frame trusses with
pegged lap-jointed collars and X-apexes.
