6/27 The School House

GV II


School house, c.1714. Clunch and limestone with red brick
gables and end stacks. Plain tile roof. One storey and attic,
symmetrical facade, Red brick plinth, rusticated quoins.
Moulded flat arched doorway with key block and cornice, and half
glazed door. Two flanking recessed twelve-paned hung sash
windows with moulded architraves and key blocks. Two hipped
casement dormer windows.
