Cottage. Late C17. Rendered cob on stone plinth. Thatched roof, the right-hand
end gabled with stack, the left-hand, hipped. Originally a single-celled
structure, the hipped roof marking the extension. 2 storeys, 2 window range.
Renewed central door and four irregularly placed windows with recessed casements.
Main room contains a large single-chamfered beam with minimal end stops. To the
left of the fireplace (now replaced) in the newel stair, the upper risers and
treads original, lit by a small, 2-light timber-mullioned stairwindow. 2 purlins
exposed in main upper room, one heavily reinforced.
