south of Church of
St. Mary

Sundial, C18. Sandstone, with brass plate. Two circular steps (the outer
in 6 parts, the inner of 2 semi-circular slabs stapled together),
vase-shaped pedestal with egg and dart decoration in the moulding of the
cap; plate worn, but said to have been dated 1746, with initials of Rev. C.
Swainson (VCH); gnomon missing.
