Middle house in a row of 3. Circa 1810, probably the same build as
neighbouring Underhill House with which it shares its axial stack. Brick, in
Flemish bond; slate roof, gabled-end to left. Double-depth plan with principal
room to right of entrance hall and rear range of rooms extending to left behind the
front range of adjoining house (Metherells, q.v.). 3 storeys.
Front: 1-window range; moulded cornice returns to left side as far back as stack
to Metherells. Hornless sash windows to all floors, 3:9:3 panes to second floor,
4:12:4 panes to first and ground floor. Round headed doorway to extreme left, with
pilasters and open pediment; panelled door with semi-circular traceried fanlight.
