House. Late C18, extended and altered early C19. Red brick in
Flemish bond, ashlar dressings, Westmorland slate roof, stone
coped tumbled gables, 2 brick gable stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys,
5 bay front with plinth and moulded ashlar cornice and parapet.
Central 6 panel door with fanlight, with Greek Doric open
pedimented surround, flanked by single C19 canted glazing bar
sash windows with ashlar bases and timber cornices with flat lead
roofs. To first floor 5 glazing bar sashes. To second floor 5
smaller similar windows. All windows have flat rubbed brick
splayed arches. The rear has brick dentillated eaves course.
Interior. Stick baluster stair with mahogany handrail.
